 Be careful with near vision correction and contact lenses.  FAA still not
okay with bifocal contacts and always avoid monovision. Eye docs like to
correct one eye for distant and one eye for near vision and this may
disqualify you on your medical. Blended contacts are ok. Item 17b on your 8500
form is asked for a reason at your medical.
