Does it come unattached from the plane also or must
you fly around with it.
Another point to consider (two points actually) is
how it meets the skin.
On my plane, some damage was done because the mount
point wasn't flexible enough as the tail was raised and lowered.
What is needed is a pin into a hole in the
plane so it doesn't slide around - mounted in a ball joint and then well
padded.
