These are made for us over 40 types with presbyopia (need reading glasses). Are any of you wearing these yet? How do you like them? Which technology do you use (soft vs RGP)? Which design type (concentric, translating, truncated, aspheric) and why did you and your doctor pick these? Do they have distant vision in the center, near in the periphery or the opposite and why? Are they progressive power or simply bifocal? How long have you been using them? How long was your "adjustment period"? What special considerations are there for pilots? Are any of you vision professionals who can help educate us pilots in this regard? I have an eye appointment to start this process on Jan 3. Hope to go armed with some info from our highly informed community. Tom Thibault N4XB, "Eagle Dancer"
