I made myself a Christmas present - The LNC2 remote-controlled
motorized dual-point lateral-leveling aircraft JACK. Utilizing a
scheme buried in the LML archives and 2 12 VDC electric motor powered scissor
jacks, the following device was hammered out (it would make Rube Goldberg
proud):
1 1.25" and 3 1.5" 4-foot square steel tubes were utilized along with 2
1.5" washers and 2 6"x24" thin steel plates. Welding was accomplished
whilst spring-clamping the tubes in the following jig:
$80 for the steel, $52 each for the jacks and $.27 each for the washers - a
total of $184.54.
