It is now certified on the Columbia 400. I am not sure if the IO550 is similar on the rear of the engine or not. I have been trying to get one for several months but the delay is that I have a 4 bladed MT with deice boots and they have only developed a slip ring for 3 bladed Hartzell props. You may be able to buy the alternator kit separate without including any of the deice equipment. I also know they won't sell direct to you. Lancair Kits is the distributor. You should talk with Tim Ong because I don't think parts sales knows about their relationship with Northcoast. Bryan N132BB
