Ongs Debongers
Hi Phil,

Ong's Debongers are shock absorbers designed for the 235/320/360 Lancairs by Tim Ong. They replace the rubber doughnuts that came with the kit. The rubber doughnuts provided almost no shock absorption, while the Debongers (I think that their official name is TK2) do a superb job of cushioning the ground ride.

On the 4 place Lancairs the shock absorption is provided by gear leg flexing, much like the single engine Cessna's.

I am not familiar with Ongs Debongers.
Is it something that may work with a IVP on grass? Anyone got photos?
We live next to a grass 3600ft runway but choose to keep our machine an hour away where there is a tarmac runway.
Our few excursions into the grass produce some uncomfortable fore aft pitching due to unevenness along with shaking due to roughness.
They regularly operate Chieftains and Bonanzas out of the grass field but we concluded that all the shaking would eventually start shaking loose connections etc
