There is a curve in the forward window frame area of the door at approximately eye level. I installed a finger grip ledge about 1" wide and 5" long flush with the window frame on the cockpit side and parallel to the window. With that finger grip I am able to pull the door closed while belted in the seat. I blended it into the window frame and painted it to match. Very few people notice it. Works great. I would be happy to take some pictures of it and send them if my description is not enough to help. Jim Scales N98AF Angel's Playmate
