Gentlemen,
I am pleased to announce that on Saturday, December 3rd, 2005, Lancair
Super ES, N891AC, took to the air for the first time with yours truly at
the controls. There were the usual squawks, including the heavy right
wing of all ES's built in the Lancair jigs of the time. The airplane is
very fast and easily reached 180 KIAS on the first flight, much to the
delight of the pilot and ground crew.
