My preferred method is to use a ClickBond Sleeve
(CB5906) in place of the Tinnerman washer. It will
give greatly increased bearing loads on thin composites.
Unfortunately, ClickBond now requires a registration
to view their products on the website, so I will
attach their drawing of this part as a PDF.

If you do register at the website, request the CD.
It has engineering drawings of their thousands of
available parts.

Disclaimer...
Clickbond sponsored the LightHawk Project to build
and fly a 150 lb, 15 meter sailplane. I designed and
build the control systems with a bunch of ClickBond's
parts. They were VERY helpful to the success of the project.
