recently replaced a B and C battery, and it seems that they have

both the position and type of terminal. The original battery was

The new battery
has screw-in type terminals on the top versus the vertical
terminals with a

Has anyone encountered
this problem?
Julian,
I find it interesting that you have been successful with such a small
battery - 16 AH. Are you located in one of those nice permanently
warm climates?
I did encounter a battery change B&C made some years back
in order to improve the BC110-1 (28 AH). Indeed the terminals were
reversed and I had to make a new (+) to Master Relay cable (1.5' lengthened to
2') and, since I had greater flexibility with the ground cable, no change
was required with the (-) connection. The terminals remained the
same. Ahhhh, the price of improvements.
