I am writing this request on behalf of a traveling fellow Lancair owner who has virtually no experience in the LNC2 type but has recently purchased a 235 converted to a 360.  He urgently needs training in the 360 type of aircraft or else a Glasair so that he can ferry his aircraft home and fly it safely in the future.  He is traveling in Texas and will pick up his aircraft in Beaumont which, as you know, was recently bashed by Rita -his plane undamaged among dozens that were totally destroyed.

His name is Don White and cell phone is 360-421-3368.  He wants this training ASAP and it will help to "safety" him in future flights of his newly-acquired plane.

Do any of you know of a CFI in the Dallas or Texas areas who would be willing to train Don?  Let's try to get him the flight training that he requires so that he can fly safely.      Greg Nelson
