I noticed some slight vibration of the left aileron in flight. The LAME's are going to replace the rod end although testing on the ground revealed very little play in the aileron itself.

They also advised that the piano hinge on the left hand trim tab is wearing.
 
Is there an update on the trim tab piano hinge to prevent wear especially to the section inside the aileron?

Is there an easy way to access and replace this or does one need to cut into the aileron?
