 I'm skeptical of any claim the FAA is trying to eliminate the one segment of
 GA that's showing robust growth and vitality.  Bureaucracies tend to look
 for ways to JUSTIFY, not eliminate the NEED, for their existance.  If
 anything, this seems an effort to create more opportunities for "required"
 inspections.
