They will not effect most = of us, but there is a big red flag raised when Epic announced their jet. T= he reason the EAA isn't making a big deal of the memo is because they are b= eing kept informed as to what's going on. The EAA is our voice. When the= y recommend we get concerned then we should do so. The FAA also recognizes= that getting assistance from an experienced builder makes the airplane saf= er. They also recognize the fact that there are a bunch of us killing ours= elves needlessly, and are looking at ways to "help". We don't need that ki= nd of help guys. Safety is what drives the policies, and if we become safe= r there will be less invoked policies.
