A fellow that I know had no reception problems with his internal antennae on a LNC4 while flying in primer, but had to relocate several of them after he had a metallic silver paint applied.

A question for you avionics types. Does metal flake paint have any
effect on internal antennas? I hope to be painting next month and am
considering several metal flake colors. Thanks in advance for your
help.
