Let me throw in my 2 cents worth. I've been using WxWorx for 2 years and I have seen some of the interference issues. WxWorx suggests that there be atleast 12" and preferably 18" distance between the antennae. That can be difficult. I have found that they can be side-by-side, BUT it can cause erratic results. They want this clearance with any emitting device. I find that my best results have been with separating the WxWorx antenna and the GPS antenna but at least 12".
I am currently using Bluetooth Wxworx and Bluetooth GPS and it works great. I just recently switched to the Bluetooth arrangement. Previously I used USB connections for both. I have tried the antennae under the instrument panel cover and it works, but I am currently leaving the GPS (Holux) and the WxWorx puck antennae on the top.
I have noted on my last flights that the GPS will lose signal if it is too close to the WxWorx receiver/antenna area. It gave no problems when I move it away. I guess it is possible that there could be some Bluetooth interference, but I imagine that it is related to the proximity of the antennae.
These results are based on my Bonanza. LNC4 will hopefully fly this fall.

I always have the WIFI turned off in the cockpit. I have the WXWORX, fixed GPS antenna and the Holux GPS side by side on a platform at the roof behind the rollover structure. The GPSs both work normal. The NAV antenna is nearby but the COMM antenna is far away in the vertical stab.
I will test alternately with the WXWORX, Holux, and both turned off. Was the "interference" you mentioned squelch breaking or something else?
