Unfortunately my first posting to the lancair list is the news that we will
not be able to complete our project as we had hoped. Circumstances have
arisen that will not allow us to continue on a timely basis and we are not
willing to turn this into a 5 year project. A brief summary of what we have
for sale:

*360 super fast build purchased in december'97
*800 hours so far
*completed: fuselage, wings (with extended tanks), horiz. stab., elev.,
rudder, canopy & plexi, ailerons, gear
*lower half of fuselage primed & sanded
*new, complete pre-wired panel by eastern avionics (not installed)
*180hp subaru motor (complete firewall forward kit, ready ot bolt-on) has
been ordered and 2/3 payment has been sent to Crossflow Aero. (balance due
is $6500 but it may be possible to get a refund for the motor because
crossflow claims to have a long waiting list for their motors. I'll speak
to them when they return from osh.)
*new 3 blade electric MT prop. (MTV-18 purchased directly from MT)

We have had 2 tech inspections from our eaa advisor and he has described
the workmanship as "excellent"
All parts are neatly organized and we have a detailed time log, photo's and
all receipts.
If necessary, we also have all tools needed to complete the project.

To date we have spent 72k on the project (plus another 12k on shop rent,
tools, and other indirect expenses)
and we have a detailed spreadsheet of absolutely every cost involved.

That's the sad story. I realize that we will have to take a huge loss on
this, unfortunately I don't see any other choice but to sell. Anyone
