WxWorx and hot starts

WxWorx:  I have had this for about 2 years on a Toshiba portege pentablet utilizing USB connections and running the wires.  I can read it in daylight if I block the direct sun off the screen.  I run full bright screen all the time.  If the direct sunlight is on the keyboard, the entire computer overheats and shuts down.  I put a sheet of paper over it and the problem is solved.  The computer has been in for repair once and needs to go back again because of dead sections on the touch portion (the mouse still works).

I had a Motion computer when they first came out and it was a nightmare to operate from crashes, BIOS errors.  It was also very slow and the wireless feature was unreliable.  Hopefully all these are solved in the newer Motion computers.

My experience is that I would purchase a Fujitsu with a daylight screen although I have no first hand experience with one

I really like WxWorx and it keeps me out of trouble and informed.  My wife really finds great comfort in it and gives her something to actively participate in while flying.

Starting Hot TSIO550.  Prime for 2-3 seconds with the throttle wide open.  Close throttle to 1/2' open.   Start and if it starts to die, quickly hit the prime again.  You have vaporized fuel in the fuel lines.
