Because once you have accepted the situation and have declared an emergency, the training under your belt comes into play big time! Granted that I am extremely fortunate that Pete Zaccagnino is readily accessible for me to use here in NJ, IHMO, all of us that fly these high performance airplanes should make a concerted effort, at least once a year, to get recurrent training, no excuses. Your love ones will be the biggest beneficiary and maybe our insurance premiums would be a bit lower too...
