Spald lifters do not heal themselves and
nothing positive could come from flying that engine.  I'm very happy it =
all
ended successfully.  I am 100% percent certain that all bearings at a =
very
minimum will need to be replaced.  I would make a big stink for a new =
engine.
  If they insist on a rebuild, don't forget about such thinks as oil =
cooler,
etc,etc....anything that sees oil.
