That happened to me the first time I ever installed the towbar. So now I use it upside down. It works fine but you have to be carefull not to ding the paint on the nose wheel pant.

On my ES I've found that locking pin bends even if all you do is drop the handle end of the tow bar when it's attached. IMHO that's not an acceptable design.

BTW- The KCI (sorry, old school) catelog lists the tow bar as being redesigned. I'm hoping they come up with a design that's not so tender.
