Thanks Bob & Tom.
I think his stick forces are way above 5-10 pounds. He flew the 320 at
Redmond to compare and said the pitching moment was much, much lower. The
forces needed to counteract the moment are so high that he's afraid of
damaging something if he extends more flaps. He has removed the spring
trim system and has a large electric trim tabs on all three axes.
Not sure what speed he's been using for flap limit speed, but I know it's
not high. I'll check.
I've thought of possible control binding or interference, but can find
nothing on the ground. Maybe our next step is for me to chase him....
