I'm new to the list and have been contemplating buying a 360 MK-II kit.
Questions I have are following: Is the carbon fiber kit worth the extra
cost? Does it make sense buying a partially completed kit, or are there
pitfalls to look out for? Should the need arise, hopefully it never will,
what is the resale value of a completed and flying aircraft? (percentagewise
of money put into project) What things should be considered before buying a
kit that are often overlooked?
I realize that these questions are rather general, but I haven't completely
made up my mind yet and would like to get opinions from people who have
"been there, and done that". I have a Commercial pilot's license and an
instrument rating. Most of my 800+ hours are on an IFR flight plan going
cross-country. (work and pleasure) I plan on equipping my plane for IFR.
Any advice you guys could give would be most appreciated. Also if any of you
are near me and wouldn't mind showing me your project/airplane, I would be
very interested.
