I will do it this evening! One thing to check and pre-plan...with the canopy closed, it's forward sloping area will interfere with the top instrument in your stack and thus it limits the depth of the top instrument. That is why I chose and placed the Garmin 150XL at the top. It's only about 6-3/4" deep and you'll have only 8"-9" available for the top instrument because of canopy interference. My stack top-to-bottom, consists of a Garmin 150XL, Icom A-200 Transceiver, Narco Transponder and VMS. Had they been available at the time, I would have chosen the Garmin 250XL (150XL with built-in transceiver) and Garmin Transponder, thus leaving room for the VMS alarm above the display itself. Of course, if you have the $$$, there are some much more exotic and compact full IFR units now available (i.e. Garmin GNC 430). For rear support of instruments, use a shear to cut two, 1-1/2" wide strips of .10 aluminum (length to suit) and fasten to each side of the instrument trays. Fasten the support strips themselves to the nose gear tunnel with two 3-16" aluminum pop rivets (backed up with area washers). One side will not line up exactly with the side of the tunnel ...simply bend slightly.
