As always, I learn a lot just stopping and taking the time to organize the materials. Your results are consistent with the results that we have had with other IV-P's. Enjoy the airplane... it is a marvelous machine. I suspect that it is faster than a turbine at anything close to its max range... just due to the fuel/range equation. Regards, George >>> I would like to express my appreciation to George Braly and the Gami folks for their engine cooling seminar. I finished the last of the baffling modifications they recommended a few days ago and went flying. Route of flight was KILG to 58M, about 10 miles. Results: OAT 59F @ 100 MSL 2700 RPM, 38 INHG, 42GPH at departure. WOT to 15,000 MSL, KIAS 155-160, ROC 2,200 +/- 200 FPM. Hottest CHT at 15,000 MSL 385F. Thanks George, Merrill Smith N335DF <<<
