Sorry for the incorrect interpretation of your message.
Yes, I like my Lightspeed, but it is a bit tricky to install. I
recommend you let Klaus Savier install the magnets in the flywheel for you-
their placement is critical. You just need to send it to him and the
turnaround is pretty quick. The other critical thing is getting the gap
right on between the magnets and the pickups on the timing ring. That
proved to be a vexing problem for me - I had my prop off and back on at
least four times before I got everything right.
One other thing Klaus recommended is that you wire the power to the unit
from a hot source so if you ever have an electrical problem that requires
you to shut your battery switch off, you won't lose power to your ignition.
The ignition switch and a circuit breaker are the only ways to turn mine
off.
