What are the details on the edge lighting of your glare

Tom,

The switches are lighted Microswitches and all the steam gauges are all internally lit - The "panel flood" was designed to be separate-circuit backup lighting and is fashioned from electroluminescent tape (automotive pinstripe).  The power module takes 5-12 VDC in and produces ?-80 VAC, 130 cycles (?), uses very little power, is connected to my Essential Bus and is controllable thru an ordinary Aero-Connections dimmer (voltage) on the 12 V input.  I have never observed any interference with any of the avionics or audio systems.

The picture was taken with it at max brightness - I used two parallel strips under the dust cover.  Recently, I have covered 1 1/2 of the strips with green translucent tape to simulate F-16 green-blue panel light.  The light not only gently floods the panel, but is useful for map reading.

You ought to see the mirrored disco ball I use to light up the baggage compartment.
