Aim one light for taxi (left side) and one for landing. I may be able to mount the two lights to my left strut. My nose is so high during the flare that I don't really have a view of the runway at all -- just off to the left side. I've done a couple of night landings without mishap. The runway lights give me adequate visual info. However, taxi in the dark is a new thrill.
