The Piper was cruising northbound over the Connecticut river as many do. The skydiver struck the horizontal stab. The Piper crashed and all were killed. The lessons I learned from that were: 1. Always have radar advisories so you can hear the ATC broadcasts of jumpers away, 2. To ask ATC where the jumpers are relative to me if I don't know the area well, 3. To buy an airplane with a bubble canopy (Legacy). Jabe Luttrell
