I'll give Continental a ring. They ought to have the answer. The hall effect
sensors I have for the buss current both have 3 wires and are wired like
that: pwr in, ground out and signal out.

Hall effect sensors have two wires that bring current to the
sensor. The third wire is the signal going back to the tach.
