I think two of the colors matched between my sensor on the mag and the wires coming from my JPI. I called JPI with a question like, "Do I hook the green wire to the blue wire?" And they said yes. I don't have my cowl off right now so I can't check the colors. I'm pretty sure Hall effect sensors have two wires that bring current to the sensor. The third wire is the signal going back to the tach. John,

I don't have the pinouts, but I remember three wires.  I think two= of the colors matched between my sensor on the mag and the wires coming fro= m my JPI.  I called JPI with a question like, "Do I hook the green wire= to the blue wire?"  And they said yes.  I don't have my cowl off=20= right now so I can't check the colors.

I'm pretty sure Hall effect sensors have two wires that bring current t= o the sensor.  The third wire is the signal going back to the tach.
