I've been treating all the materials for my interior with the same stuff manufacturers use to meet FAA flame retardant standards.  No paperwork, but I should have the same protection as the expensive materials have.

 

I have used a torch of a few materials, both with and without the treatment, and it makes a big difference on some things, not much different on other things.  It's getting too cold here to go outside and make fires!
