Don't know how the measurements
of carbon lay-up conductance were made, but we should be aware that conductance
is a function of frequency. Measurements made with any sort of ohmmeter
are DC conductance, which may tell nothing at all about conductance at the
frequencies of static noise. Static electricity has its own set of rules,
and the formulas seem to have things like ". . . eye of newt and tongue of . .
." in them!
