you sand the “shiny” surface off?
Looked
at my invoice and it says Landau foam.

sandpaper works great. I did not take
the gloss off the surface and found the adhesive to stick just
fine.
Like the
1/4" foam because after sanding there is enough foam left. 1/4" foam
makes nice armrests.
