For one who has been there, I was climbing out IMC at about 5000" when my S-Tec A/P commanded a hard up due to R/F interference in my control stick wires as I responded to a Tower radio transmission. Those A/P disconnect wires have now been removed from the stick..Entry was a bit violent and sudden !!! Pulled power, fought, then disconnected the A/P, hit full oppopsite rudder and came out at 1900' in VFR. Speed was high, in the Yellow during a power off leveling out.. I don't plan to stretch the envelope again, but spin training in a docile T-34 made this msg possible.. Hope this helps someone..sometime.. Regards Ds [ accelerated stalls are also kinda skairy... while trying to confuse a new ahars today I had the *lower* wing's flow separate and did two or three flips before I could get the nose down.. dang, when bitching betty is yelling at you, lessen, it isn't worth it.. it also took fewer Gs than I would have licked.. -Rob ]
