Or, if you want to get really technical. You could use a K & M style diffuser
profile to get the optimum diffusion. To get the lowest drag, a person should
have the airflow through the heat exchanger [ cylinder fin's] down to 1/10th
the outside airspeed. I believe the attached chart is from Hoerner's book
about fluid dynamics. [To give credit - I got it off Paul Lamar's mail-list]
It is actually possible to get thrust [ theoretically at least] if you get it
right. Now also note these numbers are for Radiator's, does is work the same
w/ air-cooled applications? I would think so.. but I dunno.
Again the standard disclaimer applies.. " I never done it before" :-)
