Steve, Are the two pipes on the left side of the engine on your installation?

I have had an Exhaust Hangar Kit ($46.00 from Vans http://www.vansaircraft.com/cgi-bin/catalog.cgi?) on my O360-A1A in a RV6 for about 800 hours----No Problems.  The kit, consisting of everything to suspend the two pipes from the aft oil sump bolts is elegantly simple.  1/4" SS tube is flattened on bolt ends and connected to 1/4" ID rubber tubing with hose clamps.  Very easy to install and adjust.

I have had other designs on this and other airplanes, I can recommend this one without reservation.
