Ken, The CG model...is it = commercially=20 available or your own Excel spread sheet? I would be interested in = such. =20 Finally, where on the firewall will the batteries fit or is this=20 hypothetical?  Problems with heat?

Bob Pastusek-thanks for = prior=20 comments-I'm a mechanical engineer however I don't feel confident = in my=20 knowledge base to move the engine forward.

Thanks,=20 Craig

<it seems a good thing to = build the=20 empty CG toward the forward limit on the IV>
<You betcha, they = do tend=20 to get tail-heavy.  Working with a CG model, I was able to get my = 'min.=20 fuel, pilot only' CG to within a half-inch of the forward limit by such = things=20 as using Hartzell vs MT prop, putting my two batteries in the engine=20 compartment, and just generally placing all heavy items as far forward = as=20 practical.
