Chipetine for the following opening paragraph. "Gentlemen, The last few days have seen a marked increase in "inter-forum bickering". Regardless of the reason, this is counterproductive, disrupts and discourages the free exchange of ideas, and in general is beneath our collective dignity." I could not have said it better. This forum is the best thing ever happening to the Lancair builders. We can get the answers so badly needed by us all. The answers come from a cross section of seasoned and the nonseasoned builder/flyers of all ages and backgrounds. We are all very blessed to be able to tap this reservoir of strength. We all emotionally flare once in awhile.....it's the nature of a pilot. Most of us want to achieve perfection from ourselves and sometimes from those who seem to keep us from perfection. Failing that we sometimes want to "set 'em straight" anyway. It doesn't work.....stick to the objective and take the high road to victory. We have this airplane to build and I find delight in building it better than the factory can do it. Of course that is our purpose.....we builders are pioneers. We find new ways to some how put together an imperfect product and grin when we succeed .... then share it. Lets try not to heap our standards on others, rather, show them what is possible.....and to learn from what is regrettable. >From one who has had foot surgery on my mouth.
