OAC (myself) also makes a simple, less expensive AOA indicator, so the pilot
can SEE how close he is flying his wing to its stall-AOA. Will soon be
installing one on the L235 I just bought. Web page temporarily down. IInfo on
request. See my article in Dec. 1998 Kitplanes, for info on AOAs, which cut
Navy accidents 50-percent in the first year (1956) AOAs were installed in
carrier aircraft. About a third of all fatal experimental aircraft accidents
result from unintentional stalls-spins. I've been flying with one since 1963.
