Jeff Bertileit of Props Inc. (Newport, Oregon) recommended 20 to 25
foot-pounds of torque for the prop he made for my bird.
I check the prop torque every time I have the top cowl off which seems to
be every 20 hours or less. After the first few checks when new, no
change in torque has been observed.
