Scott, regardless of all of those neat differences you cite, if the
internal core temperature of the fuel pump is at or above the flash
point of the fuel... the engine will not start. Period. Parade rest.
This is fundamental. It is easy to solve with the TCM system.
Wonderfully easy. And when you do it, it works EVERY time - - the same
way - - with confidence. It dramatically reduces the fire hazard
associated with all other methods.
And it works by design based on the science and the understanding of
the problem - - not by some voodoo magic combination of controls that
just happens to get the engine to "catch".
