would call your local luxury car dealer. Get the vendor who installs
"clear bra" products. This is the latest product installed on the hood,
bumpers, etc to protect against rock chips etc. It is an excellent
product.

Paint time for the Carbon Pony. I'm thinking of
some clear leading edge tape for abrasion resistance, and also some teflon
tape to cushion the rubbing of the flap against the wing trailing
edge where the flap nests.
I'd appreciate the group's guidance on whether
these are good ideas, and also on sources for such
tapes. Thanks in advance
