Ron called = me this AM and his airplane, a 320, has a one time STC for the auto = racing oil filter system discussed here. It was issued by the Seattle = FAA for his aircraft by its serial number. Surprisingly, it is not for = the engine but the whole aircraft. I'm surprised but then again not. = The FAA will never cease to amaze me with their arcane rules and = proceedures. Gee, and I thought I knew everything. What a = disapointment!
