It sounds like hype to me. STC stands for Supplemental Type = Certificate and Experimental homebuilt aircraft do not have a type = certificate. There is no such thing as an STC for an = "Experimental" category aircraft. It sounds like hype to me. = STC=20 stands for Supplemental Type Certificate and Experimental=20 homebuilt aircraft do not have a type certificate.
