Clark,

   I mounted mine just forward of the firewall, low in the almost horizontal portion of the curve on the right side.  I put a small spring loaded door in the cowing that is hinged on the forward side.  The apu receptacle is standard, two large pins for the plus and minus and a sense pin that is smaller.  Aircraft Spruce should have them.
