What are you Legacy builders doing about the
ELT antenna? I'm trying to keep the long, whippy things sticking outside
to a minimum, and am contemplating a "lollipop" type, similar to the transponder
antennas, on top of the empennage. Can't figure any way to cram it in a
wingtip, and besides, if the ELT is really needed, the odds of the wingtip still
being in close proximity to the tail are maybe not so good.
Ideas?
