I am not going to spend much time worrying --

Although the following is not a direct comparison, I think it is a good indicator.

I have a dozen fishing rods that were manufactured between 1950 and 1954.  They are made of fiberglass epoxy prepreg by Narmco Inc. in Costa Mesa, CA (Conolon fishing rods).  I have used a fly rod and a spinning rod regularly for 50 years.  The only "degradation" in my collection is the rod I stepped on, and the one I closed in a car door -- the rest still look and perform as new.

I know, I know, cold cure is different than thermocure prepreg -- but I submit not all that different.  I will bet there are a lot of 1950s Glaspar (also Costa Mesa, CA) fiberglass fishing boats and car bodies still in use.  These were made using glass mat, glass cloth and cold cure resin.
