I am installing the Precise Flight speed brakes with a servo in the fuselage
and cables running from the servo to the brake in the wing. However, I have
also installed the extended fuel option which means the bays in the wing
(between the brake and the fuselage) that would normally be dry are now wet.
The cable for the speed brakes must now run through these wet bays. Has
anyone installed brakes in a similar situation? What is the best way to run
the cable through the wet bays and still have enough 'float' in the housing
tube to allow the cables to move and not bind? Thanks.
