We just did some hands on research on various tablets at work. The Compaq
tablet was far and away the best for screen brightness, pointer sensitivity
and general use. None of them had a internal CD or floppy (yet) so we passed
on them.
One note, if you lose the stylus on the Compaq it will set you back $50 as
it is a battery powered "active" stylus.
The backwards folding keyboard on the Compaq was nice as well. Flipped one way
you had a tablet, flipped another way it formed a stand to hold the screen at
a decent angle to work on.
Just my 2 cents.
